Melinda Harris, creative director Melinda Harris, president of Go West Design Group Inc., has over 25 years’ experience as an accomplished designer. Using effective visual and written communication, Melinda has the versatility, creativity and project management expertise to support clients in gaining, retaining and nurturing their client relationships and stakeholder relations. Qualifications include graphic communications at Selkirk College and a post-graduate diploma at Sheridan College.	Catherine Novak, writer and social media Catherine specializes in business and technical writing, as well as social media consulting and training. Familar with the differences in writing for print and for the Web, Catherine brings with her over 20 years’ experience writing for businesses, government ministries and agencies and non-profits. Her forte is in helping Go West Group clients engage with their audience and create genuine relationships. Catherine has a BA in English and a post-graduate diploma in Applied Linguistics from the University of Victoria.
Johanna St. Michael, graphic designer and illustrator With a Fine Arts Degree from UVic and over 20 years as a graphic designer and illustrator, Johanna brings a unique blend of skills, experience and passion for what she does, including software development, illustration, graphic design, interactive educational CDs and key media lead. Since moving back to Victoria in 2003, Johanna has been designing for businesses in BC, and creating art deco wedding invitations and cards for clients in North America and the UK.	Penny Sopel, marketing and media buying With an endless amount of energy and determination, Penny is the driving force behind marketing research and analysis. Penny has an extensive international background with over 20 years of marketing on behalf of numerous companies in the resort, marine, transportation, tourism and retail industries. Her tenure includes Pacific Coastal Airlines – VP, Marketing & Sales, Oak Bay Marine Group – VP Marketing, Western Canada Summer Games – Director of Public Relations, Key Events and Promotions – Owner.
Tracey Ehman, administration and project management With a background in systems analysis spanning over 15 years, Tracey’s attention to detail ensures projects run smoothly. Working with the team, Tracey keeps all projects on track and on budget. She also oversees on-time distribution of our clients’ communication materials, such as e-newsletters and special event advertising. Client care and follow up is also a key part of Tracey’s project scope - clients are thrilled with her approachable manner, care and level of service – we are too!
